Toumaki knife (or Fujimaki)
This knife was originally developed to be carried with a samurai sword (in the sheath).
Nowadays, this reliable and robust knife will be useful during your hikes, bivouacs ... for cutting, slicing or trimming.
This double-sided sharp knife is entirely hand-forged by Motosuke Nagao masters.
The name "Toumaki" is the name given to the braiding technique used to cover the handle with natural rattan.

Description
This Japanese Toumaki knife has a Japanese carbon steel core Aogami #2 "Blue Paper" (non-stainless).
The blade, thick and sturdy, can be easily sharpened by hand.
